Participant in the Forests Forward program since March 2021 and currently in the performance phase. In this phase, the organization and WWF are jointly implementing agreed action plans and demonstrating progress towards the intended outcomes and impacts.
The aim of the engagement is to co-create projects and initiatives, in partnership with the private sector, to scale up forest landscape restoration and promote innovation in the Atlantic Rainforest. By strengthening market linkages for responsible purchasing and consumption of wood fiber, opportunities for investment to upscale forest landscape restoration beyond supply chains can be identified. As a result, the experience of companies working on the ground can provide valuable contributions and lessons learned to be shared with other relevant stakeholders.
