During the meeting, the progress of the project for the sustainable development of 7 indigenous reserves of the Sikuani and Piapoco peoples in the Orinoco-Amazon transition zone in Colombia was discussed.

This project seeks to conserve 358,000 hectares of tropical rainforest belonging to the following indigenous reserves: Saracure, Concordia, Flores Sombrero, Guaco Alto and Bajo, Cali - Barranquilla, Caño Chocón and Siare.
