Improved water and livelihood resource management
Climate proofing water systems for resilient livelihoods

Climate-proofing water systems is essential for building resilience to climate change and ensuring that water resources can continue to support livelihoods in the future. By adopting these measures, communities can help to protect their water resources, reduce risks from extreme weather events, and promote sustainable water use practices.
LISTEN project is undertaking water point rehabilitation in across different sites. This will promote sustainable water use such as water efficient agriculture, reduction in pressure on existing water resources which are scarce in ASALs thus ensuring that water is used in a way that supports long-term resilience.
