The LISTEN Project is working with water user groups and county governments to develop and improve water sources to support livelihoods in Laikipia, Isiolo and Samburu counties. It is now a norm that after rainfall seasons, droughts follow.

Therefore, during the rains is best time to plan, invest and conserve water resources.
Today the project team visited Alamach Borehole and Isiolo Agricultural Training Centre Borehole where in partnership with BATUK, the project has undertaken borehole rehabilitation, solarization.

Currently the project is doing water reticulation to farms to improve irrigation systems among pastoral communities.
