Based in the village neighbouring Lake Olbolosat, we are trying to come up with solutions to reduce human/wildlife conflicts between hippos residing in the lake and the community.

Our main focuses are:

Unlocking the tourism potential of the lake; engaging the community in alternative farming methods (pond fish farming, bee keeping, poultry and piggery, among others);
massive tree planting to reclaim the lost ecosystems, reducing the food production per unit area over time.
