Good Practices Guide for Agroecological Knowledge Collection

Agroecological knowledge exists and is present worldwide – from farmers who apply ecological principles in their production to consumers who choose to base their diet on products from such farmers. It is crucial to collect these practices, from production to consumption, before they disappear. Equally important is to publish them through accessible means to transfer this knowledge to future generations and popularize it.

Recognizing this need, the MedCaravan team has created the Good Practices Guide for Agroecological Knowledge Collection, aimed at assisting in the appropriate collection and recording of agroecological knowledge. With this guide, the MedCaravan team hopes that agroecological practices, which provide solutions in many areas – from agriculture to art, from supply systems to community solidarity – will be disseminated as a useful tool for the regeneration of agroecosystems.
