Codesign: Exploring New Marketing Methods in Puero Gaviota

The Future of Fish (Chile) team visited the community of Puerto Gaviota and its fishers, kicking off the second stage of a collaborative project started in 2022 by a local consultancy on the fishing reality of the region. During this visit the team proposed designing schemes for responsible and autonomous marketing driven by the community itself.

With the help of actors who have been working in these territories for a long time, such as the FAO, this visit allowed the Future of Fish team to explore methods and assets that would allow resources, such as southern hake, to enter sales channels complementary to the currently existing ones.
