It’s amazing to see how many birds breed right now during the rainy season in the coastal region of Ecuador! With plant growing season in full swing, a lot of maintenance is required to control the grass in our natural reforestation projects of Arbofino and the Bosquefino Foundation.
During their maintenance work our workers discover numerous animals that spread in our nature reserves. During the last days we have found numerous birds nesting in different areas. Even in young trees that we just planted last year we found the first nests already! This is another wonderful proof for us and our team how important these restoration projects are.
And do you know what’s equally important? Our employees have become much more aware during recent years of the beauties of nature, understanding why it is so crucial to find a balance between nature conservation and productive land.
