Navigating the Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted and threatened lives worldwide. One of the many effects of the pandemic. Fishers were required to sell their catch of fish in bulk, through large processing establishments from outside their communities, rather than to individual community members. ABALOBI stepped in to fulfill a niche role to distribute and deliver fish to coastal communities experiencing food insecurity.

The Second Pilot Delivery

Due to the resounding success of our first pilot delivery, we conducted a second pilot delivery during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. Community members were impressed with the initiative, appreciating the affordability, quality, and size of the fish bundles. We were privileged to assist these coastal communities navigate through this difficult period.
