We reached out to the pilot of the plane and he gave us the instructions, explaining how he wanted the ground ready for the landing of the fuel. At 10 am, he was already above us. He flew three times around us before finally lowering himself, to throw 1200 liters of fuel off the plane. However, one parachute failed to deploy, so we lost 200 liters of gas.
Consequently, the plane descended, not once but twice again, to deliver the essential packages of food and spare tires at the lowest possible altitude. It was necessary to minimize the risks while parachuting them as there was a potential risk of losing the most vital part of our survival: Food.
As a result: we lost 200 liters of gas and the food we received had been mixed due to the violent impact it received when hitting the ground.
