Soil analysis is crucial for good implementation - it guarantees that the type and quantity of inputs for soil preparation is correct. In this case, besides analysing soil composition for inputs' application, it will also analyse soil carbon.
Agroforestry system, when managed with that objective, are able to improve soil's health - by maintaining biomass in the soil, especially a biodiverse biomass, it contributes to soil temperature and microorganisms, its chemical and physical features, reduces the possibility of erosion and lixiviation and preserves its humidity. Therefore, agroforestry systems have also great importance for soil carbon.
The intention is to verify the change in soil carbon promoted by the systems and its management.
