The plot received 15 students to share some of agroecological principles and create a moment for students to get in touch with sustainable agricultural practices. Actually, it was a very rich exchange of activities: the students experienced a different "study" day and, on the other hand, the farmers had 30 more hands to help with the planting activities!
In Brazilian words, it was a "mutirão" day: is a Portuguese word that derives etymologically from the Tupi-Guarani linguistic family motyrõ, which means “gathering for harvesting or construction”, or simply “common work
