We successfully transplanted some of our Dendrocalamus asper bamboos near a water catchment for watershed protection.

Compared to monocultures, agroforestry systems and permaculture techniques are more robust.

As part of our objectives this year, BIDG is targeting the propagation of 15,000 bamboo seedlings by the close of this season 2018. We belive we will achieve this deliverable by improving the capacity of our field personnel and equipping them with the necessary tools and know-how.
