The LISTEN Project/SNV together with Nelen and Schuurmans and partners I.e BATUK, Kenya Red Cross, Kenya Meteorological Department, Water Resources Authority and County Govt of Isiolo held a stakeholders meeting aimed at synergizing as part of the El Nino rains flood mitigation.

The different organizations and institutions are working together to map out flood prone areas and deploy Slam Dam technology to control floods in Isiolo County. This is part of interventions taken by stakeholders working together to build the capacity of Isiolo County in management of climate related risks
