Ward Planning committees are the tenets of the Climate Change Act and whose role is coordination and mobilization of communities and other stakeholders in the wards to design and implement climate change response and activities.

Policies and legislations are in place to ensure that the governance structures have been established and strengthened to facilitate implementation such as the establishment of the Ward Climate Change Planning Committees.
