Era has employed many people in this area to restore the mangrove estuaries, but it isn't possible to give work to everyone in the area. To create more community buy in Era has created training programs and hosted large scale volunteer events to create larger community buy in on the project. We received incredible news from the planting team last week.

Someone was trying to clear cut part of the mangrove estuary to make way for a salt mine. Community members noticed the developing situation and called Restoration Era's team. The team is employed to plant, but is now seen community wide as those responsible for the well being of the estuary. Era's team members came to the scene accompanied by tons of community members outside of the team to put a stop to the clearing.

This was such an incredible display of the change of heart in so many community members towards the wellbeing of their environment. It was also a testament to the dedication of Era's planting team members.
