Project goals include:

1. Permanently sequestering carbon from the atmosphere
2. Coppicing trees to produce biochar, which will be then enriched and sold to the +20,000 hectares of palm oil plantations which are in the vicinity.
3. Extracting the natural dye; Haematoxylin, from the Palo de Tinto. This is commonly used in pharmaceuticals and can reduce the amount of chemical dye in their products.
4. Produce electricity which can replace the diesel/coal that is used in power plants in that area, thus creating an important social impact.
