This agroforestry was implemented in a degraded pastureland. This farmer is a cattle rancher. The agroforestry planting was done with mulching technique. The objective is to produce corn, beans and other short cycle crops, native fruits and non-timber forest products, such as andiroba (Carapa guianensis), cumaru (Dypterix odorata), rosewood (Aniba roseodora) and red cedar (Cedrela odorata). After 4 years will be implemented pasture in between lines for cattle feeding.
