Seedlings of native tree species like Lyonia ovalifolia, Santalum album, Rhododendron arboreum, Pinus wallichiana, and so on were planted in the restoration site. Seedlings produced from Jaubari Restoration Nursery and other local nurseries within the project area were used for plantation.
Generally, the best time to plant a tree is during the monsoon season, which typically runs from June to July. This is because the soil is moist, and the rain provides the necessary nutrients for the seedlings to establish themselves in the area.
