This camera trap footage shows that the Wildlife Recovery Zone of the Thap Lan National Park has become a haven for elephants, tigers and other large mammals and is helping to reduce human-wildlife conflict. SIG is supporting conservation and improved forest management in the landscape, as well as a new conservation operations centre from where response teams can oversee elephant movements and help intervene in case animals approach cultivated fields. In the target areas, project monitoring recorded a 30% reduction in reported human-elephant conflict incidents since the project began in 2024.
