January in the flowering season for most of low land forest trees in Jambi. The flowers and their seeds are important sources for natural regeneration of the forests.

Last January our team went to Wanagama II teaching forest in Jambi to collect Shorea seeds. These seeds are germinated to produce seedlings in the nursery.
