At Star Seed, we believe beauty is not just skin-deep. It’s rooted in the earth beneath us, in the communities that care for it, and in the cycles of regeneration that sustain us all.
That’s why we are thrilled to share the launch of our 5th regeneration project: Pangani Revival.
Nestled along the stunning coast of Kenya, Pangani was once a vibrant limestone coral forest, teeming with life and diversity. But decades of maize farming and mining have left its soils depleted and its ecosystem fragile.
Now, the story is changing.
Together with The LEAF and the incredible local community, we are planting the seeds—literally—of restoration. At the heart of this effort is an indigenous tree nursery, cultivated by the community with love, care, and a vision for a greener future.
🌱 Every seed is thoughtfully collected, nurtured into a sapling by local hands, and planted to heal the land.
🌿 This is more than just reforesting; it’s about weaving together the health of the land, the livelihoods of its people, and the biodiversity we all depend on.
This project also holds special meaning for us at Star Seed. Over 70% of the botanicals in your skincare come from East Africa, and projects like Pangani Revival ensure these ecosystems remain thriving and biodiverse for generations to come.
It’s our way of giving back to the land that gives us so much—and inviting you to be part of this beautiful cycle of regeneration.
Thank you for being on this journey with us. Together, we’re not just creating skincare; we are planting hope, roots, and a future where beauty and the planet flourish side by side.
