Pangani Revival: A Forest Reborn
Soil to Skin: 2,023 Trees Planted This Earth Month

This Earth Month, we have been reflecting on what regeneration truly means, not just as a concept, but as a lived experience.

In January, we returned to the roots of our botanicals, walking the coral-rich soils of Pangani and wading through the mangrove waters of Kilifi. Witnessing the tangible progress of our efforts was both humbling and inspiring.

This April we are back to the soil. With our newest site, Pangani Relics, we supported the planting of 494 indigenous trees. This area, once a thriving limestone coral ecosystem, suffered from decades of maize farming and mining. Now, with the dedication of the Pangani community, native species are taking root, and the land is beginning to heal.

Further east, along Kilifi Creek, we helped plant 1,529 indigenous mangroves. This region, once lush with mangrove forests, faced deforestation that left the shoreline vulnerable. Our reforestation efforts here aim to restore the natural barrier, supporting both biodiversity and local livelihoods.

Every seedling we plant is a step towards our mission: to regenerate your skin and our soils. By tracing each ingredient back to its source, we ensure that our skincare products not only nourish you but also contribute to the health of the ecosystems they come from.

Regeneration is a journey, slow, deliberate, and deeply rewarding. Thank you for being part of this path with us.
