The goal of the engagement is to promote sustainable forest management and credible forest certification, including increasing the supply of wood and wood-based products from well-managed forests, expanding FSC forest management practices, developing and promoting requirements for protecting biodiversity and high conservation values during wood harvesting, and supporting the Boreal Forest Platform.
