The Role of Women in our Sustainability Practices

The monitoring team currently comprises four women who are closely tied to the local fishing communities as wives, cousins, and daughters of fishermen.

These monitors track daily boat departures and returns, record catch data in the ABALOBI Monitor app, and collect length samples. Their consistent efforts contribute valuable data for improving fishing practices and environmental conservation.
