Wildlings in their new (temporary) home

Nduzani and Tereza are placing newly collected wildlings (young seedlings gathered from dense areas of forest) into planting tubes at the Muloza nursery. Wildlings transplanted into nurseries have a much greater chance of survival, away from the competition of their many siblings on the forest floor. These wildlings can later be replanted in areas of degraded forest as a method of restoration. The Muloza nursery rears only indigenous species.
