Sofidel has joined the Forests Forward programme – a WWF performance-based programme that engages diverse organizations and groups to improve forest management and responsible trade worldwide, as well as working to enable innovative approaches to conserve and enhance the benefits of biodiversity-rich, productive forests and healthy forest landscapes for people.

Through its participation, Sofidel aims to improve its pulp responsible sourcing policy, setting, implementing and monitoring effective and ambitious commitments to improve their performance and reduce the risk of deforestation, ecosystem conversion, and human rights violation in priority areas within company’s supply chains.
