Me mõistame elurikkuse tähtsust ja vajadust leevendada inimmõju loodusele. Samas mõistame me ka inimkonna vajadust looduse pakutavate hüvede järele. Võttes arvesse ühiskonnas ja looduses toimuvaid protsesse, tuleb leida lahendus, mis sobib kõigile. Toetume oma tegevuses kõige uuematele teadusandmetele, aga ka põlvest põlve edasi antud talupojatarkusele. Me ei soovi jääda kinni looduskaitset puudutavatesse dogmadesse. Tutvustame Eestis uuendava, taastava ja lepitusökoloogia põhimõtteid. Töötame selle nimel, et leida toimivad lahendused mitmekesisema ja liigirikkama Eesti jaoks.

The Nature Fund - Uniting man and nature in harmony

As the holders of Estonian lands and nature values, we work for the future where a person, being part of nature, helps to balance and works towards higher biodiversity.

1. We take care and create nature habitats, balancing different needs in society. Intervention ecology principles guide us in our restoration work and in creating new habitats. Reconciliation theory will help us to support the ideas and actions on rewilding activities.
2. We understand the importance of biodiversity. We recognize the good will of organizations to mitigate human impact to nature. We stand for the wellbeing of nature. Therefore we are devoted to finding a common platform for all the parties.
3. Powered with innovative data and endowed with wisdom of generations living on our land, we devote ourselves in our work for the preservation of land and nature. Nature is in continuous change and learning that the extensive conservation in Estonia is not leading us to the achievement of biodiversity goals, we are gathering the experience and knowledge from experts outside the conservation community. The aim and will is to find the right key for biodiversity and species rich Earth.

Currently Estonia is almost reaching 30% on land area protection. However, even more important than setting a goal in hectares, is the aim that the sea and the earth would be diverse and species rich. We are currently in the position where more and more land and water are offset, but this has not brought us biodiversity and strength of species richness. We need to act differently. Let's do it together!
