The project is composed of the Community Council of the Black Community of Alto Guapi, which works to protect the forest by reducing and controlling deforestation and forest degradation. The community council has a total of approximately 1,823 people, grouped into approximately 912 men and 911 women. It is currently in the process of validation and certification by AENOR under the CERCARBONO standard methodology. This project estimates an emissions reduction of 128,830 TCO2e.
