Water resource management is a critical issue in Ewaso Ngiro North basin. The growing population, increasing water demand, and prolonged droughts have increased water insecurity. The basin experiences erratic and unreliable rainfall, leading to a decrease in water availability, especially during the dry season. In addition, the basin is facing increased pressure from competing demands, with both local and national stakeholders vying for access to water resources. To mitigate these issues, LISTEN is supporting improvement in water management and conservation practices at landscape level
