Maderacre operates forest concessions of over 300,000 hectares, representing more than 36% of the productive permanent forests of Madre de Dios. Its management follows the concept of productive conservation with mechanisms to reduce illegal logging and deforestation. Maderacre will work in its newly aquired concessions to implement good forest managment practices, while promoting alternative economic opportunities around non-timber forest products in their original concession.
