The Guatemala Coastal Restoration Project is are focused on restoring the heavily degraded mangrove estuary and coastal forests on Guatemala's southern coast. The projects provide jobs for communities to restore their mangrove forest, opportunity to start agroforestry businesses, and restore the shell fish and fishing potential of the region. This model provides immediate and long-term solutions that benefit both communities and environment.
