A new home for critically endangered mangrove species

Due to mangrove loss and climate change, several mangrove species are at high risk of extinction. They may disappear soon, if protective measures and replanting are not enforced. The Bruguiera hainesii (Rhizophoraceae) is one of the two critically endangered mangrove species listed in the IUCN red list of threatened species. https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/178834/7621565. More than 1,000 of those trees have been planted across the climate park to ensure its survival.
