Kezia's seedlings are all grown up!

“I have benefited a lot from planting these trees," says Kezia N. (62) from Kinesi village, who received 1700 seedlings from the project after taking part in training on the importance of tree planting and its benefits in 2013. "My family is getting fruits which help to improve nutrition, and the trees are helping to regulate climatic conditions. I give all my thanks to this project for making a difference for the lives of poor people in Rorya District. I am not alone who benefitted; many others have too, and their lives have changed significantly." Kezia's farm includes Albizia lebbeck, Casuarina equisetifolia, Calica papaya, Psidium guajava, Sapindus mukorossi , Jacaranda mimosifolia, Terminalia catapa, Tectona grandis, Acrocarpus fraxinifolius, Percia americana and Citrus leticulata.
