CAOF is a coalition of 17 local NGOs, individuals and private sector organizations in Northern Ghana. Members are from Upper East, North East, Upper West and Northern Regions
Its goal is to increase the incomes of smallholders farmers through organic and sustainable agriculture development. CAOF is working to create a strengthened and vibrant movement of organic producers and consumers promoting Ghanaian organic products nationally and internationally. CAOF’s Mission is “to work with farmers in sustainable agriculture and engage in policy dialogue to promote an environment supportive of the production and marketing of healthy farm products”.
Our intervention at the grassroots details a programming framework that builds on indigenous knowledge, local resources and focuses on core areas of sustainable farming, climate change and environmental conservation.
