Land Life Company BV
About

Land Life is a technology-driven ecosystem restoration company that plants trees at scale, offering corporations and organizations a sustainable and transparent way to take climate action and remove carbon from the atmosphere through nature restoration. To maximize outcomes for nature and provide full (data)transparency to our clients, Land Life applies data and technology, such as drones, artificial intelligence and monitoring applications, to every step of the planting process. Planting trees where it is needed most, Land Life’s projects revitalize important ecosystems, improve biodiversity and create social and economic benefits to local communities.

Land Life’s headquarters are in Amsterdam with growing operational hubs in the US, Australia and Europe. The team is uniquely qualified and diverse (leaders, scientists, field operators).

On the technology and scientific side, our resilience engineering team originated through our Director of Science, a professor from Wageningen University (carbon modeling in mixed-species forestry) and expanded rapidly to a global team including an agronomist with 40 years of collective field experience, data scientists, software developers, GIS/drone experts and forest engineers.

In addition to this strong practical and scientific support in Amsterdam, our regional hubs include growing local teams of passionate staff with backgrounds in strategic partnership development, organizational management, forestry management, restoration, agroforestry, fire response and wildlands fire management, and climate-forestry research.

All of our team members highly value collaboration and partnerships as a way to achieve our broader mission of helping to restore the world’s 2 billion hectares of degraded lands.

More on our team is available on our website and bios can be provided upon request.
