Our scent products are developed with the precepts of the circular bioeconomy of the standing forest, in partnership with extractive cooperatives, traditional communities and indigenous peoples in Brazil, and especially in the Amazon Forest. Our products are handcrafted and we pay fair prices throughout forest product chains.

We currently also resell arts and artifacts from traditional and indigenous peoples through ethical trade.

Urucuna is the only home fragrance company that owns Origens Brasil® - The Fair Trade Seal (Origens won the FAO Innovation Award for Sustainable Food and Agriculture in 2019- the UN's agriculture arm). Through the seal, which is the actual QR Code itself, the system works via a collaborative platform where you simply scan the code with your smartphone to learn the origin of the products, stories of producers and their territories.
