Collaboratively working with
The Forest Finance Initiative
Our project has been selected by the Forest Finance Initiative as one of five private sector initiatives that makes significant contributions to the advancement of Ethiopia’s national and regional climate and land use strategies. We actively work with the Global Green Growth Institute to advance the country’s climate goals and outcomes through the sustainable management of highland bamboo resources, by collectively garnering the investment required for successful project implementation.
Collaboratively working with
Manufacturing Africa Program
Our project has been selected for inclusion in the U.K. government’s Manufacturing Africa program which aims to achieve economic transformation in Africa through the advancement of the continent’s manufacturing sector. McKinsey & Company works collaboratively with us to reduce the risk, cost and deal time of transactions through targeted technical assistance and transaction advisory services.
Collaboratively working with
Climate Smart Forest Economy Program
Our project has been selected as one of seven Breakthrough Initiatives under the Climate Smart Forest Economy Program administered by Dalberg Catalyst. We work with Dalberg to reduce the construction industry’s climate footprint through the manufacture and sale of our socially and environmentally conscious outdoor bamboo decking products.
In collaboration with
Ethiopia Forest Development
We work collaboratively with Ethiopia Forest Development to achieve its 10-year bamboo-related targets as outlined in the National Bamboo Strategy and Action Plan by 2030. We aim to share our forest-to-market business model with third parties in order to scale up both the area of bamboo under sustainable management in the country, as well as to significantly increase the manufacture of value-added bamboo products.
