African Bamboo's natural bamboo operations aim to produce FSC-certified bamboo to support the scaling of our manufacturing operations in Hawassa Industrial Park. This existing resource provides African Bamboo with raw material supply security, and a high level of management control to implement sustainable bamboo management best practices, while creating jobs for local people, enhancing carbon stocks, and protecting local wildlife populations e.g. the Bale Monkey.
