Summary
In the Northeast of Brazil, mangroves play a crucial role for both the environment and local communities. Most people in the region where we work depend on fishing for their livelihood. In addition to generating direct employment for the local population, our projects aim to ensure a sustainable future for these communities. In Alcântara, we have planted over 4 million mangrove propagules, with 200 hectares under active restoration, benefiting more than 60 families.
