In Burkina Faso we were active in the Great Green Wall since 2010 where we aim to achieve Land Degradation Neutrality (SDG 15.2) through reforestation with a high biodiversity level. Together with local population, we worked **to restore 10,000 hectares of degraded land from 2010 till 2017**, defining the sites, determining native tree species and monitoring and reporting annually. This project (financed by filantropie) was a proof of concept to develop it further in semi-arid area's.
