"Bosques de paz, sustento de vida" aims to protect 77,162.3 ha of natural forest from the advance of deforestation in the department of Meta, Colombia, reducing GHG emissions and conserving its local flora and fauna.This is achieved through sustainable actions such as transferring knowledge through capacity building and raising awareness of the role of conservation in communities.Its ultimate goal is to improve the living conditions of the families of the 1265 members of the project.
