Summary
This project is restoring landscapes and promoting sustainable land use. The project aims to reforest 2,000 hectares of deforested land while collaborating closely with local partners in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Bamboo stands out due to its exceptional ability to sequester carbon faster than, e.g., hardwood trees. The project also has a strong positive impact on the sustainable development of the local communities and generating 120 stable, long-term job opportunities.
