Summary
In Araku Valley, India, this project reduces reliance on silver oak trees in coffee and pepper plantations by integrating diverse vegetation, including native fruit trees, biomass-producing plants, and protective border species. Silver oak density will be cut by 50%, with remaining trees supporting pepper vines. This enhances biodiversity, soil health, and farmer income while fostering resilient ecosystems and sustainable coffee and pepper farming.
