Project
Scave Portugal - Cidadelhe Syntropica

At its heart, our project is about succession and restoration. We design planting systems that invite native species back into the landscape, creating lush habitats where wildlife and biodiversity can thrive once again. But we aren’t just planting trees; we are cultivating a living laboratory.

Our research initiatives are dedicated to gathering vital data on how agroforestry performs in changing climates. By documenting our impact on climate resilience, we create a "blueprint" that others can replicate, helping sustainable agriculture scale far beyond our borders.

We believe that true regeneration is a community effort. Just as a forest relies on a network of mycelium, our project relies on the strength of human ties. Through hands-on workshops, educational programs, and an open-door policy, we work alongside local experts and global volunteers to share knowledge. Whether we are building with bio-materials or pruning for biomass, we are working to create a regenerative future that supports every member of the ecosystem—human and wild alike.
