Regenerative practices in scope

Crop rotation, reduced/no tillage, nutrient management optimization, cover crops, direct seeding, efficient use of phytosanitary products

Risks associated with the Landscape

Soil erosion and loss of soil fertility, nutrient and pesticide leaching, loss of biodiversity and habitat

Monitored or published results/outcomes

Improvement in soil health and soil organic carbon; increased efficiency in fertilizer use (N, P, K); improved water use efficiency; reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂e); increased biodiversity and habitat provision; optimization of agricultural production systems. Results measured against baseline and aggregated at project level.

Additional information:

Designed as a scalable and replicable model for regenerative agriculture combining technical support, digitalization and value chain alignment; translates on-farm practices into measurable and verifiable impact supporting farmer transition and corporate sustainability strategies.

Information about monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) approach:

Structured and standardized MRV approach combining field data collection, modelling tools and verification processes; aligned with SAI Platform Regenerative Transition Framework (RTF), GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Guidance (LSRG), Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and DNDC model for emissions and soil carbon estimation; ensures consistency, transparency and compatibility with international reporting frameworks.

Incentives and value creation model:

Ecosystem services; technical assistance; financial incentives
