With support of UICN-The Netherlands and World Land Trust, in 2018 we purchased Selva Verde (519 ha), which contains the main northern forest patch of the area: 482 ha of primary and secondary forest with several groups of all the monkey species, blue-billed curassows, all the feline species and neotropical river otters, among others. More importantly, it might harbour lowland tapir individuals, a species was recorded in the Middle Magdalena Valley after 50 years only in 2015.
