With support of Fundación Natura and the GEF-Magdalena Project, and Plant for the Planet, we destined an area of nearly 7 ha that directly benefits the local fishermen community of Bocas de Barbacoas, who provide the seedlings and the labour. The restoration areas designed for Plan for the Planet specifically benefit the community women group. Furthermore, an area of 16.2 ha was destined as a community-based restoration area for an ISA and Corantioquia compensation project.
