The Kraaibosch project nursery houses thousands of indigenous trees, consisting of over 15 species that have been identified as most suited for forest restoration. These species include pioneering nitrogen fixing trees like Keurbooms (Virgillia divaritica), Cape Rattle Pod (Crotalaria capensis), as well as secondary and tertiary species like Real Yellowwoods (Podocarpus latifolius) and White Ironwoods (Vepris lanceolota).
