Wild Bird Trust - Cape Parrot Project's primary nursery, Boscobel Nursery, currently has approximately 22,000 trees and the capacity for 30,000, all of which are indigenous species grown from seed collected from the local forests.
Species stocked in the nursery include Outeniqua Yellowwoods (Afrocarpus falcatus), Real Yellowwoods (Podocarpus latifolius), Cheesewoods (Pittosporum viridiflorum), White Stinkwoods (Celtis africana), Red Current (Searsia chirindensis), Cape Chestnut (Calodendrum capense), White Ironwood (Vepris lanceolata), Assegaai (Curtisia dentata) and many others.
